Dauntless Capital Partners is private investment group that makes equity
investments in a broad range of companies and industries.
We are active investors in our portfolio companies
and believe our group is distinguished by our background as both experienced
operating managers and as investors and financiers.
Our Principals have successful track records in
acquiring, managing and creating shareholder value in companies, both publicly
and privately held. Our deep, rich resources and relationships throughout the
financial and business communities stand our portfolio investee companies in
good stead.
We are neither just “equity sponsors” nor
“financial engineers” who lack management experience, nor are we just
“turnaround consultants” with no long term skin in the game. We do bring a
unique combination of capital solutions and substantial operating management
experience from many industries, and are currently interested in investing in
underperforming or distressed companies located in the Western US and Western
Canada.
Given current market conditions, we are keen to
acquire underperforming companies with an established operating business, and
depending upon circumstances, distressed operations. While we have a preference
for investing in small cap public companies, we will also consider investments
in privately held companies. We don’t insist on having absolute stock control,
however, we do insist on having control over the board and management.
We finance our investments through a combination of
our own capital and other private investment partners. We put our money where
our mouth is – it’s our capital and sweat.
